Cold Chisel DVD Debuts at #1

Fresh from his induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Jimmy Barnes now has another reason to be celebrating. The recently released Cold Chisel DVD “Last Stand”, featuring one of their final performances in 1983, has debuted at number one on the charts and subsequently gone platinum.

Recorded and filmed at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in December 1983, the DVD includes interview footage with all band members, manager Rod Willis and Midnight Oil's Peter Garrett.

There is no doubt that Cold Chisel still stand as one of the most popular bands in Australia – “Last Stand” is not their first, but second DVD release to go platinum and the band’s record sales have passed the three million mark Down Under. The Cold Chisel “Best Of” collection is the highest selling compilation from an Australian band.
