FOO Fighters star Dave Grohl has sent a message to the miners trapped in the Beaconsfield mine in Tasmania.Grohl heard Brant Webb had requested Foo Fighters songs to be loaded on to an iPod sent down the mine. Yesterday, Grohl sent an email that was read to the men. "Brant and Todd, Dave here, from the Foo Fighters. Hope you guys are hangin' in there, and hope that the music is helping you two out. "Though I'm halfway around the world right now, my heart is with you both, and I want you to know that when you come home, there's two tickets to any Foos show, anywhere, and two cold beers waiting for yous. Deal? Looking forward to sharing them with you . . .
"Come home safe, and we'll see you soon. Dave Grohl." Mine manager Matthew Gill said the miners were "both stoked". "I can tell Dave that those two say yes, that's a deal," he said.Their horrific ordeal, almost a kilometre beneath the surface, has now lasted 11 days.
